Janet LaFave, who locally owns and operates Little Ones Academy, opened the child-care center in November of 1992.  Janet has a family background in child-care, as her sister-in-law has owned or consulted to over 20 child-care centers in the Atlanta area.  In addition, Janet has had 15 years of experience in marketing and management working for Rich's department stores in Atlanta and the Togg Shop in Americus, Georgia.  When Janet decided to open her own child-care center, she knew Athens was ready for an upscale provider of child-care.  Since its opening, Little Ones Academy has enjoyed such great success in providing excellent child-care.  Janet opened an additional location on the East side of Athens in 1998.
